History Made in Croke Park

First we would like to congratulate the outstanding performance of the Offaly Camogie Team when they Captured the All-Ireland Junior title in Croke Park on the 13th of September. In doing so 3 of the players made histroy by becoming the first players to ever use a synthetic hurl in a match in Croke Park. Audrey Kennedy, Karen Nugent and Tina Hannon were all using Cúltecs during the game and just to prove it here's a couple of action shots of Tina.

Cúltec in Action

Thanks to the guy/girl who has put the Kilkenny v Offaly match up on You Tube, I've picked out some of the parts where Diarmuid Horan was involoved in some play using a Cultec. He's playing left half back for Offaly but wearing number 5.

In the first Video if you want to skip to 3.40 across the bottom bar Diarmuid clears a ball. And if you skip on to around 7.30 he’s involved in a throw in with 'Cha'.

In this one if you skip to 2.40 Diarmuid takes a free but if you want to watch all the match you can go to the You Tube website and do a search for it, I think there is 8 parts all together, it's a great game, well the first half is anyway, then Kilkenny do the usual and pull ahead.
